SYNOPSIS FOR THE VI

Synopsis: A deep low pressure
system over the Eastern Caribbean will continue to cause unstable atmospheric
conditions today. The system is expected to begin weakening later today or
tonight and drift to the northwest.

Today: Cloudy with
scattered showers, some of which could be moderate or heavy at times. There is
also a chance for isolated thunderstorms. A
flash flood watch is in effect until 6 pm today. Residents should guard against
rapid buildup of water.

Tonight: Cloudy
occasionally with scattered showers

Winds: East
northeast and East 10 – 14 KT. Lighter spells can be expected tonight.

Seas: Moderate with
waves 4 – 6 Ft or 1.2 – 1.8 M. Small craft operators should exercise caution.
