A dry air mass will continue to move over the region during the morning hours, to limit shower activity and bringing hazy skies. This air mass will be followed by the arrival of a surge of moisture associated with a tropical wave, which will increase the possibility of shower and thunderstorm activity late this morning and into the afternoon hours.
