Synopsis: A relatively stable atmosphere will continue to dominate weather conditions over the Leeward Islands and BVI today. Beginning tonight a building ridge will cause a moderate to fresh wind-flow to blow over these islands and push pockets of moisture over these islands at times
Today: Partly sunny; any shower will be light and brief
Tonight: Partly cloudy with brief passing early morning showers possible
Winds: Easterly at 8-14kts [15-26km/h] today and increasing to 12-18kts [22-33 km/h] by early tomorrow with higher spells over coastal waters.
Seas: Moderate with heights of 1.8m or 6ft today increasing to 8ft in the coastal waters east of the Leewards by early tomorrow. As a result, a caution remains in effect for today while a small craft warning will come into effect for the Leewards by early tomorrow for hazardous sea conditions.
