19th February 2018 – Synopsis: A fresh to brisk wind flow generated by a surface high pressure, will influence weather conditions across the islands. Northerly swells combining with high wind speeds will keep sea conditions elevated.
Wx: Today: partly cloudy and breezy with few locally cloudy periods and passing showers. Tonight: partly cloudy and breezy. Few passing showers could also develop.
Winds: ENE – E 12-18kts or 22 to 33 km/h and reaching 22kts or 41 km/h over coastal waters and gusting higher in showers.
Seas: Rough with swells 2.1 to 2.8m or 7 to 9 ft. A warning is in place for small craft operators and sea bathers.
