The Department of Disaster Management Weathers Stem is showing high temperatures coupled with high heat indexes between the hours 9:00am to 3:00pm. Temperature is how hot or cold the environment is, while the heat index is what the temperature feels like. The heat index is ranging from 98F to 100F between the hours 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Here are are few tips below:
- Stay in an air-conditioned indoor location as much as you can.
- Drink plenty of fluids even if you don’t feel thirsty.
- Schedule outdoor activities carefully.
