High Chance of Showers Friday Morning

August 9, 20191194Views

August 9, 2019 — Some moisture and instability associated with the northern end of a tropical wave will maintain a high chance of showers and a moderate chance of thunderstorms across the Virgin Islands during the morning.

Winds will be from the East between 7 to 15 knots while seas will be between 5 to 7 feet. A small craft caution remains in place for the waters mainly to the east.

Dry and stable air moving into the region this afternoon and tonight is expected to reduce the chance of showers.
