A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for…

* Saba and St. Eustatius
A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 24 to 36 hours.
A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions are possible within the watch area, in this case within 24 to 36 hours.
SITUATION
Forecasters have indicated the stronger winds will stay south however some of the outer rain bands can create showers later this evening.
WINDS
Winds 25mph with higher gusts are possible.
RAINFALL
Rainfall amounts of less than one inch is predicted for the territory however outer rain bands can increase this amount
SEAS
Seas as high as 10 feet are possible. A small craft advisory is in effect. Small craft operators should stay in port and sea bather warnings are also in effect for breaking waves and dangerous rip currents.
STORM SURGE: Some coastal flooding is possible on southern facing roads in areas of onshore
winds.
