WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE VIRGIN ISLANDS

According to Antigua Meteorological Services, the outer southeastern rain-band associated with Hurricane Sandy could sweep some moisture into the vicinity of the British Virgin Islands and increase the chance of showers and thunderstorms across the islands mainly on Friday.

Tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers.

 

Tomorrow: Cloudy to overcast with scattered to numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms.

 

Winds: SE-SSE at 08-13kts with some gusts in showers.

 

Seas: Moderate to locally rough waves/swells 1.8-2.1m or 6-7ft.

 

Barometric Pressure: Below normal

 

Sunrise tomorrow:  6:53 am.

 

Sunset tomorrow:  6:08 pm.
