Synopsis: Settled atmospheric conditions will prevail across the area over the next 24 hours; however, pockets of low level moisture could trigger periods of brief showers.

Weather today: Partly cloudy with a 30 percent or a low chance of showers.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 40 percent or a moderate chance of showers.

Winds: East at 13 to 28 km/h or 8 to 17 mph.

Seas: 1.5 to 2.1 metres or 5 to 7 feet with northerly swells, a high surf advisory is in effect.

Sunset today:  5:55 pm.
